What's a Temple Sealing?

For Destiny & Sele, their wedding day begins with a sacred temple ceremony called a sealing. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they believe marriage and family relationships can continue beyond this life.
Inside the temple, they will make sacred promises to God and to one another as they are sealed together as husband and wife for time and all eternity.

Why is the ceremony private?

Temple sealings are sacred religious ceremonies and are attended by invited family and friends who are members of the Church and hold a current temple recommend.
We understand that many of the people who love Destiny & Sele come from different faiths and backgrounds and may not be able to attend the sealing itself. Please know that your presence, love, and support are no less meaningful to them.

Celebrating Together

While the sealing is a sacred and more private part of their wedding day, the celebration is meant to be shared.
Family and friends are invited to join Destiny & Sele after their sealing and throughout their wedding celebrations as they begin this new chapter together.
They are grateful to be surrounded by people from many different backgrounds who have loved, supported, and helped shape their lives.

What the Temple Means to Them

For Destiny & Sele, being married in the temple represents more than their wedding day. It represents their faith, their commitment to one another, and their hope to build a marriage and family centered on God.
Their sealing is where their marriage begins. Their celebration is where they get to share that joy with all of you.
